Notifications are messages sent to Poetic users. The sending of a notification is triggered by a specific event.
For example, when a user generates entitlements, an email message may be sent to the users who can activate the entitlements. When users schedule reports, the report is attached to an email message.
Notification templates determine the format and content of each notification. You can create multiple versions of a template to allow different versions of the same notification for different purposes.
