About disabling entitlements

If you have the appropriate security privileges, Poetic allows you to manually disable entitlements.

When you disable an entitlement, depending on how the application is configured, any linked entitlements may also be disabled. If any of the disabled entitlements have been activated, the activated items also are disabled.

Selecting the entitlement to disable

To search for and select the entitlement to disable:

1. On the Asset menu, click Entitlements.

   The Search Entitlements page displays. To display a list of entitlements, provide search criteria, then click Search Entitlements.

   If you belong to an end customer, and you are not linked to any other companies, then the search results are restricted to your company.

   If you have access to more than one company, then you can use the Company name field to search for entitlements by company.

2. Click the Options link for the entitlement you want to disable, then select Disable from the context menu. The Disable option is also available from the Options list on the View Entitlement page.

   The Disable Entitlement form displays.

   The form lists the number of entitlements and activated items that will be disabled as a result of disabling the selected entitlement.

3. Verify the changes and add any notes.
4. Click the Disable button.
