Regenerating the keys on a machine or registration certificate

About the regenerate keys function

The regenerate keys function allows you to regenerate the keys on a selected machine or registration certificate. During the regenerate process, you are able to change the activation details, except for the locking ID. You cannot use the regenerate key function to move activated items to a different machine.

Regenerating the keys resolves any missing or out-of-sync keys on the machine or registration certificate.
