Activating and deactivating events

Activating events

Events are activated automatically when the background job runs that processes events.

You can also activate events immediately if you need them to occur sooner.

To activate an event:

  1. On the Search Events page, to display a list of events, enter search criteria, then click Search Events.

  2. In the list of events, check the check box next to each event you want to activate, then click Activate checked events.

    The selected events are processed.

Deactivating events

Before an event is processed, you can deactivate the event to prevent it from running at all.

To deactivate an event:

  1. On the Search Events page, to display a list of events, enter search criteria, then click Search Events.

  2. In the list of events, check the check box next to each event you want to deactivate, then click Deactivate checked events.

    The selected events are deactivated.
