Exporting downloads to a file

From the Search Downloads page, you can export the downloads in the search results to a file. You can then import that file into another Poetic instance. Note that the export does not include the detailed description files. You must copy those manually to a new instance.

To export the download search results:

1. On the Search Downloads page, click Export results.

   The Export Downloads page displays. The page includes a link to the event generated to export the downloads.

2. To return to the Search Downloads page, click Return to Search Downloads.

The downloads are exported to a file in the outbound/ESDImportExport directory on the File Share.

To use the file to create downloads in another instance:

1. On the instance where you exported the downloads, download the exported file from the File Share. See Downloading files from the File Share.
2. On the instance where you want to create the downloads, upload the file to that instance's File Share. See Uploading files to the File Share.
