Generates a list of activated items.
When the criteria page first displays, the following criteria are immediately available:
Company name | To only include items registered to a specific company, specify the company name. Either type the name in the field or click the find icon to search for and select a company.
You may also specify partial criteria (for example, type A% to include items registered to companies whose names begin with the letter A). If you belong to an end customer, and are not linked to any other companies, this criterion is not available. The report results are always specific to your company. If you are linked to other companies, then you can see results for your own company and for the companies you are linked to. |
LAC | To only include activated items created from entitlements with a specific License Authorization Code (LAC), type the LAC in the field. |
Machine name | To only include items activated to a specific machine or registration certificate, type the machine or certificate name in the field. The field supports partial criteria. For example, to find all machines or registration certificates that start with "SERVER", type "SERVER%" in the field.
You may also be able to load a list of machines and registration certificates to search for. If this option is available, then an Enter List link displays next to the field. When you click Enter List, the Multiple Machine Input form displays. To type a comma-separated or return-separated list of names, from the Input by dropdown, select Manual. To load the list from a file, select File load. Click Browse to search for and select the file. After selecting the file, click Load. After entering the names or loading the file, click Continue. The Machine name field is locked, and contains a message indicating that you have selected multiple machines or registration certificates. To clear the list, and enable the field, click Clear List. |
When you click Advanced Search, the following additional report criteria display:
Item status | To only include activated items with a specific status, select the status from the dropdown. |
Machine status | To only include items on machines and registration certificates with a specific status, select the status from the dropdown.
By default, Poetic only includes items installed on active machines and registration certificates. |
Entitlement type | To only include items activated from a specific type of entitlement, select the entitlement type from the dropdown. |
Contract # | To only include items activated from entitlements created under a specific contract, specify the contract number.
Either type the number in the field, or click the find icon to search for and select a contract. You may also specify partial criteria (for example, type 123% to include items activated from contracts that begin with 123). |
Group name | To only include items assigned to a specific group name, type the name into the field. |
Group ID | To only include items assigned to a specific group ID, type the group ID into the field. |
Locking ID | To only include items associated with a specific locking ID, type the locking ID into the field.
You may also be able to load a list of locking IDs to search for. If this option is available, then an Enter List link displays next to the field. When you click Enter List, the Multiple Locking ID Input form displays. To type a comma-separated or return-separated list of locking IDs, from the Input by dropdown, select Manual. To load the list of locking IDs from a file, select File load. Click Browse to search for and select the file. After selecting the file, click Load. After entering the locking IDs or loading the file, click Continue. The Locking ID field is locked, and contains a message indicating that you have selected multiple locking IDs. To clear the list, and enable the field, click Clear List. Note that if you provide both a list of machines and locking IDs, the report will only include machines that both have a name from the machine list AND a locking ID from the locking ID list. |
Publisher-specific entitlement properties | The publisher may provide other entitlement properties to use as report criteria. |
Last name | To only include items registered to a user with a specific last name, type the last name into the field.
You can also specify partial criteria (for example, type A% to find items owned by users whose last name begins with the letter A). |
First name | To only include items registered to a user with a specific first name, type the first name into the field.
You can also specify partial criteria (for example, type A% in the last name field to find entitlements owned by users whose last name begins with the letter A). |
City | To only include items for registered companies located in a specific city, type the city in the field.
You may also specify partial criteria (for example, type A% to find certificates with registered companies located in cities whose names begin with the letter A). |
Region/Countries | To run the report for registered companies located in any country, select All countries from the dropdown. This is the default value.
To run the report for a specific region, select the region from the dropdown. To select the specific countries for which to run the report, click the icon next to the dropdown. Use the select countries form to select the countries to include. |
Product # | To only include items for a specific product, specify the product number. Either type the number in the field, or click the find icon to search for and select a product.
You may also specify partial criteria (for example, type 103% to include certificates for products whose numbers begin with 103). |
Product line | To only include items for a specific product line, select the product line from the dropdown. |
Family | For each product family for which to include certificates, select the family from the combo box, then click the Add Below button.
To clear the list of families, click Clear. |
Security role | Administrators or customer support users may want to replicate how a customer may see the report.
Depending on your security privileges, a Security role dropdown is included in the criteria. This dropdown allows you to generate the report based on the selected security role. The report will still exclude any items that are not visible to your own security role. |
Start date | To only include items with a start date that occurred within a specific time frame from the current date, click the Within selected time frame radio button. Select a time frame from the dropdown.
To only include items with a start date that occurred within a specific number of days from the current date, click the Within past # of days radio button. In the field, specify a number of days. To only include items with a start date that occurred within a specific range of dates, click the Within date range radio button. In the fields, specify the start and end dates for the range. |
Expire date | To only include items with an expiration date that occurred within a specific time frame from the current date, click the Within selected time frame radio button. Select a time frame from the dropdown.
To only include items with an expiration date that occurred within a specific number of days before the current date, click the Within past # of days radio button. In the field, specify a number of days. To only include items with an expiration date that will occurr within a specific number of days after the current date, click the Within next # of days radio button. In the field, specify a number of days. To only include items with an expiration date that occurred within a specific range of dates, click the Within date range radio button. In the fields, specify the start and end dates for the range. |
