Verifying an address

When you enter an address, there may be a requirement for the system to validate whether it is an existing address.

If the system cannot find any matches for the address you entered, you will be prompted to either:

• Use the address as entered
• Edit the address you entered in order to make corrections

If the address you entered is a close match to an existing address, the system displays the existing address and highlights the information that is different. You can then either:

• Use the existing address
• Use the address you entered
• Edit the address you entered

If the address matches multiple existing addresses, the system displays the matching addresses. You can then either:

• Select one of the existing addresses
• Use the address you entered
• Edit the address you entered
