Managing a user's company links

About user links

A user may be linked to companies other than the company they belong to.

User links allow users to view and manage entitlements and activation for their linked companies. For example, a sales manager at a reseller may be able to manage entitlements for the manager's dedicated customers.

The Preferences tab of the User Profile Maintenance page includes a list of the user's links. From the list, users may be able to create, edit, and remove links.

Creating a new link

To link the user to a different company, click Add a link.

On the Search Companies form, use the criteria to find the company you want to link to.

Click Select to select the company and finish adding the link.

Removing a link

To remove a link, click Remove for that link.
