The Order Header section displays at the top of every tab of the View Order page. It contains general information about the order.
Order # | The order number. |
Trader | If the order was created via XML, the trader associated with the XML document. |
Status | The current status of the order. |
Reset Status button | For renewal orders generated by an external system, if there were issues with the order, you may be able to click the Reset Status button to update the status back to Entry in Progress. |
Mode | The order mode used to create this order. |
Program | The name of the program under which the order was placed. |
Subtotal | The total price for the order before taxes. |
Downloads Available | If any of the order products have available downloads, the section includes a download link. Clicking the link displays the Search by Download tab of the Downloads page. See Finding available downloads for the selected company. |
Tax | The tax charged for the order. |
Create date | The date on which the order was created. |
Publisher ID | The pub ID for the order. |
Type | The type of order. |
Entered by | The name of the user that created the order. |
Contract # | The number of the contract under which the order was placed. Click the contract number to display the contract overview page for this contract. |
If there is an end customer for the order, the End Customer & Contact Information section displays.
Company | The name and address of the end customer for this order. |
Ref # | The number the end customer uses to refer to the order. |
Company ID | The publisher's identifier for the end customer. |
Contact | The name, address, and email address of the end customer's contact for the order. |
The Sold-to Company & Contact Information section contains information about the company that purchased the order items.
Company | The name and address of the sold-to company for this order. |
Ref # | The number the sold-to company uses to refer to the order. |
Company ID | The publisher's identifier for the sold-to company. |
Contact | The name, address, and email address of the company's designated contact for the order. |
The Dealer Company & Contact Information section contains information about the channel partner that sold the products.
Company | The name of the dealer company for this order. |
Ref # | The number the dealer company uses to refer to the order. |
Company ID | The publisher's identifier for the dealer company. |
Contact | The name, address, and email address of the dealer company's designated contact for the order. |
The Bill-to & Ship-to Information section contains information about who paid for the order and where any physical products were shipped.
Bill-to | The primary contact, name, and address of the company that was billed for the order. |
Ship-to | The primary contact, name, and address of the company to which any physical product was shipped for the order. |
The Payment Information section contains information about how the order was paid for.
Payment method | The payment method used to pay for the order. |
Number | The payment number used to pay for the order such as a purchase order number or credit card number. |
Currency | The currency used to pay for the order. |
PO date | If applicable, the date of the purchase order used to pay for the order. |
The Line Detail section contains the list of products purchased on the order. To display the View Order Line Status page, which contains additional information about the specific order line, click the product number.
For each product, the list includes:
Product # | The product number for the purchased product. Click the product number to display the View Order Line Status page. |
Description | A detailed description of the product. Includes the name, platform, language, number of users, product type, and deployment.
May also include the effective dates and the type of order. |
Qty | The quantity purchased for the product. |
Points | The number of points accumulated for the product. Displays if the program uses points. |
Unit Price | The unit price of the product. |
Ext Price | The unit price of the product multiplied by the quantity ordered. |
After the list of products, the Line Detail section includes a Subtotal line listing the total prices for all of the products, and, if applicable, a Tax line listing the tax charged for the order. If there are shipping charges, a Shipping line displays.
The Notes section contains any notes entered for the order.

This section only displays if at least one of the fields displays.
Level | If applicable, the level achieved by this order. |
Points | If applicable, the number of points earned by this order. |
Expire date | If applicable, the expiration date of the order. |
Returned order # | If this is a return, the number of the order that was originally returned. Click the order number to display the View Order page for this order. |
If the order status is Entry with Errors, then the Error Messages section displays. The Error Messages section lists the errors in the order.
Date | The date of the error. |
Error Message | A description of the error. |
Notes | Any notes added to the order to explain or fix the errors. |
The Status History section shows all of the changes in the order status in chronological order. For each change in status, the list includes the status and the date and time the change to that status occurred.
The Shipping Information section lists any physical shipments that have been made for the order. For each shipment, the list includes:
Product # | The product number for the product that was shipped. |
Qty Shipped | The quantity that was shipped. |
Ship Date | The date the shipment occurred. |
Ship Method | The name of the carrier used to make the shipment. |
Tracking # | The tracking number for the shipment. If the tracking number is a hypertext link, you can click the number to go to the carrier's web site and track the status of the shipment. |
If there are coordinators for the order, that information displays here.
Coordinator Type | The type of coordinator. |
Coordinator Name | The name of the coordinator. |
Family | The product family assigned to this coordinator. |
If the order required any proof of purchase, the Proof of Purchase section displays, listing the proofs and purchase and validation status.
Line # | The order line number that required the proof of purchase. |
Product # | The product number. |
Serial # | The serial number provided to validate the product. |
Validated Qty | The quantity validated for this product. |
Status | The status of the proof of purchase validation process. For example, approved. |
Error Text | A description of any errors with the proof of purchase validation process. |
Whether you can view the order transactions depends on your security settings. The Transactions tab contains a record of the relevant transactions performed on this order.
For price overrides, Poetic records the override type and other price changes. Only discount requests are tracked. If Poetic recalculates the price, Poetic does not display the price change on the Transactions tab.
When users edit an order to add or remove products, Poetic records the line number, product number, quantity, and net value price.
When the order is complete, the Transactions tab displays the user, date/time, and order subtotal.
