Changing an order's payment method

For orders with a status of Pending Authorization, you can still change the order payment method.

To change the payment method for an order:

  1. On the Order menu, click Order status.

    The Search Orders page displays.

  2. To display a list of orders, specify search criteria, then click the Search Orders button.
  3. In the order search results, click the radio button next to the order, then click the Edit Payment button.

    The Billing tab of the Order Entry page displays.

  4. From the Payment method dropdown, select the new payment method.

    Specify any additional information needed for the changed payment method.

  5. Click the Error tab to check if there are errors in the order.

    If there are no order errors, the Confirmation tab displays.

  6. Verify the order information, then click the Finish button.

    The Order Entry Complete page displays.
