Poetic allows you to create and edit the currencies that can be used by the countries in which your customers are located.
You manage currencies from the List Currencies page.
To edit a currency, click the Edit link for the currency you want to edit.
Currency | Required. In the Currency field, type the name of the currency. |
Active | To make the currency available for use, check the Active check box. |
ISO3 code | Required. In the ISO3 Code field, type the 3-digit International Standards Organization (ISO) standard code for the currency. |
Pub ID | Required. In the Pub ID field, type the ID number assigned to the currency by the publisher in its external systems. |
How to use | In the How to use field, type any instructions for how the currency is used. |
Symbol | In the Symbol field, specify the symbol used to identify the currency. |
# of places after decimal displayed | Required. In the # of places after decimal displayed field, type the number of places (between 0 and 5) displayed after the decimal point for the currency. |
Maximum rounding error allowed | Required. In the Maximum rounding error allowed field, type the largest difference allowed for a price adjustment between Poetic and the publisher's system. |
In the Default price region dropdown, select the default price region to use to calculate prices for orders that use this currency.
To change the countries that can use a currency:
After you add or edit currencies, you must reset the cache to propagate the changes throughout the Poetic instance.
